Jewelry by Miriam Haskell
Up for your consideration is an Awesome 2 Strand Beaded Milk Glass Necklace by Miriam Haskell.
Description - sitting under the Palm Tree at the Beachfront Cafe sipping a Margarita, he noticed her - she was wearing a shapely yellow sundress, and floral sun hat, and a lovely 2 strand necklace - later he would discover it was a Miriam Haskell, one of the most collected names in vintage costume jewelry - it decorated her neck spectacularly w/its moulded milk glass beads and rhinestone studded, fancy filigree clasp - he never got her name, but he'll remember the necklace.
Measurements - approximately 12.5" w/a 1.25" drop and a 2" extender.
Dates - c1950-c1960.
Markings - marked "Miriam Haskell" - please see pictures.
Condition - Excellent: while this piece does a marked patina on the clasp and a touch of verdigris in the nooks and crannies, this milk glass itself shows little evidence of age or use - it does wears phenomenally! All materials are present, clear, and chip/flake free; the hardware is in good, working order.
Shipping is FREE for First Class Domestic and International orders. Tax is charged for California residents at 8.75%.
How I Ship My Jewelry - I do not believe that jewelry, let alone vintage jewelry w/rhinestones, should be shipped in padded envelopes. Your jewelry, where possible, will be shipped in a new, cotton-filled jewelry box, but will always be shipped to you in a cardboard shipping box and padded w/both tissue and bubble wrap.
