Up for your consideration is a 40s Retro Sterling Silver Floral Brooch.
Description - this wonderful sterling brooch is designed in a floral motif and decorated w/emerald green and crystal rhinestones - a shining example of 40s retro fashion that is like nothing else!
Measurements - approximately 4" x 2.25" - a nice, large size that is sure to get noticed and bring on the complements.
Date - c1940.
Marking - stamped "Sterling" - please see pictures.
Weight - total actual weight is 0.6 oz (17.01 grams).
Condition: Excellent: this piece shows a fine patina associated w/age and a touch of clouding to the stones, but little other evidence of age or use - it wears wonderfully! Otherwise, all materials are present, clear, and chip/flake free; the hardware is in good, working order.

How I Ship My Jewelry - I do not believe that jewelry, let alone vintage jewelry w/rhinestones, should be shipped in padded envelopes. Your jewelry, where possible, will be shipped in a new, cotton-filled jewelry box, but will always be shipped to you in a cardboard shipping box and padded w/both tissue and bubble wrap.
About My Sterling & Silver Jewelry - Unless requested, Sterling/Silver Jewelry will not be polished, preserving the patina associated w/age. Additionally, I do not recommend polishing old Retro brooches, as the patina/wear adds to their mystique and nostalgia.
